#MugSwap2011 :: What a surprise!!!!

I didn’t know what to expect going into this. Who am I going to be matched up with? How hard is it to design a mug? What if mine looks like crap? Do I have to come up with special pictures or a phrase for it?

The stress of it all!

But you know what?

I. LOVED. IT.

And can’t wait for next year. :)

Kristin from What She Said sent me this way cool mug (filled with goodies no less!)

The mug is cool and all… but I am a sucker for chocolate.

And this…

…was good chocolate!

On a side note, the mug I created was shipped off to Just a Lil Snarky!

Thanks again for hosting this Liz! Love it!!

An American Cancer Society Birthday…

As some of you know — but I haven’t talked about in quite some time — my mom is a breast cancer survivor. She’s been in remission now for about 4 years after undergoing a lumpectomy, chemo and radiation. I can’t even begin to thank the doctors and those involved in cancer research. The work they do helps the families of those affected by this terrible disease feel more at peace, helps with the steps that need to be taken.

Home for the Holidays…

I’m very lucky to live close to my family — especially when it comes to the holiday season. As much as I might wish that I move away, I know that if I did there would be times I wouldn’t be able to come back.

#PinterestChallenge: Week 16…

Ok, I wasn’t going to take a week off from the #PinterestChallenge posts. Really, I wasn’t! But you know how life somehow gets in the way and you just don’t know what happened to the time as it seemingly got away from you? Well, I’ll spare you the details (for now) and let you link up your posts for this week. :)

(And I swear… next week I’ll schedule something so it comes out on time Sunday!)
