Happy, Happy Friday!

I’m soooo excited for this weekend I can barely stand it. I’m going to be working on making my handmade greeting cards to sell so that I can sponsor myself (and maybe if things work out REALLY well – another person) to go to The Relevant Conference this October. {I have sent out a sponsorship letter – so if that comes through – I will definitely be sponsoring someone to join me at Relevant!}

I’ll be showcasing my cards on Tuesday next week — along with details on how you will be able to purchase them! Stay tuned!!!

Now it’s time for 5 Question Friday with Mama M. — And I *LOVE* the questions this week.

1. Did you have a favorite blanket or toy as a kid? If so, do you still have it?
I had a few favorite items when I was a kid. The pink care bear and a doll come to mind right off hand. And I think that most (if not all) of the favorites are stored in bag in my parents basement. Not a great way of storage… maybe I should change that. {By the way, I can feel my mom nodding her head as she reads this.}

2. Do you dream in color?

3. How tall are you? Do you wish you were shorter or taller?

But never have I (nor will I ever) wish that I was taller. This is tall enough for me.

4. If you could have anyone’s (celeb or other) voice as the guide on your GPS, who would it be?

Or an English accent.

5. Do you return your shopping cart to the corral or leave it wherever in the parking lot?
Almost always. Might be my OCD – trying to stay organized – tendencies running thick on that one… but I also get really irritated when I’m driving through a parking lot and rogue cart is wandering into my path due to the wind.

What a week.

Glad it’s the weekend.

And I wanted to vlog – and these questions would have been perfect for that… but I forgot until after I had gotten ready for bed, and I’m sorry – but you are *NOT* going to see me in my pj’s.

Now it’s time for another 5 Question Friday with Mama M….

Here are the questions for this week…

1. What is one food you could eat every day?
Pizza. No wait. Pasta. Yeah.

I think. (I hate that I have to choose just one!)

2. Are you working in the career you thought you would be when you were 18?
I’m in a field that’s related… because I wanted to be in accounting. Now I’m in a finance field. It’s all business.

But I’d rather be a writer. Or in marketing. Or public relations.

3. What is something that you wish you would have done when you were younger and you didn’t?
Date more. I was so scared of having people around me that I think I sheltered myself away from that entirely. Not to mention that I didn’t like myself, so (as I thought in my own head) why would anyone else like me?

It’s different now. Except I’m scared to be made a fool of – so I don’t venture out and ask. Which I think is what happens with the guys as well. Or at least that’s why I’m hoping they don’t ask me out.

4. What color are your kitchen walls?
My kitchen and living room walls are a great shade of green. It’s like a dark shade of celery. I guess.

And even after being in my house for 5 years (I moved in when it was brand new so I chose the colors), I still love that color.

5. Do you remember what your very first favorite song was?
I’ve thought and thought about this question, and honestly can’t remember what it was. I’m thinking it could have been Michael W. Smith’s “Friends” or Steven Curtis Chapman’s “Great Adventure”. But then there’s the secular music like Debbie Gibson’s “Only in my Dreams”, C+C Music Factory’s “Gonna Make You Sweat” or Guns N Roses “November Rain”.

Yeah, you could say I have an eclectic taste in music.
