In my attempt to catch-up with my #PinterestChallenge this week… I’m starting out by showing off the Scotcheroos I made for my upcoming birthday celebration. And yes, this is the celebration I started planning (and named “Divas, Drinks & Desserts) before I started with the Body Transformation Challenge and becoming a #Mamavation Sista.
I know so many people that really like these, so I thought making them would be fun. Here are some highlights from the journey… and yes, it was a journey.
So it was off to the store I went to get more.
Once I had the appropriate amount of peanut butter (as well as some other miscellaneous items) I proceeded to mix, mix, mix until all the krispies were coated.
And yes, I washed my hands.
Then it was time to make the chocolate mixture. (Did I mention that this was a journey?)
And that’s where it’s been ever since.
I’ll let you know how they are on Saturday.

Those look so yummy! I wonder if the chocolate would melt easier for you if you try a double boiler next time? I just throw one sauce pot into another when I melt chocolate lol.
Those look really good!
Oh! Yummy. Although I tend to shy away from anything that includes the word “boil” and “corn syrup”. I get skurred. However, the peanut butter and chocolate does sort of make up for it.
These look awesome! I found some cakebatter rice krispies i think i HAVE to try!
