I’m headed to Bloggy Boot Camp Chicago this coming weekend. Can I hear a woot woot? (Yeah, I can’t believe those words came out of my mouth either.) So because I’m extraordinarily excited about being there this weekend, I decided to do a Top Ten Tuesday on why I am so excited. Makes sense right?
Here are ten of the reasons I can’t wait for this weekend to get here…
10. I have a great roomie for the event… Jackie from With Just a Bit of Magic. I met her at Gleek Retreat earlier this year and am SO excited to spend some time with her once again.
9. There will be wine. Specifically Mirassou – of which I’ve tried their Pinot Noir – and I’m very excited to see what other wines they offer.
8. Learning more about working with brands… although I’m not sure where I really want to take this part of things. I do know that I want to work with good companies that believe in the same things that I do.
7. Getting more into vlogging… aka video blogging. I *want* to do more with this, but I also want things to look good and professional. Definitely need to take some major notes during this session.
6. I found out that Amanda is going to be there… and this time I’m going to get a picture with her. For some reason that didn’t happen in Philly last year. This must be rectified.
5. I get to go out a day early and hang out with Smokey {oh yeah, and Napwarden too.} We’re even going to brave the skydeck at the Sears {Willis} Tower. If you look up, we’ll be the ones crawling on the glass for about 2.5 seconds.
4. Then there are the people I’ll get to meet and be reunited with. I’ve been tweeting with some of these friends for YEARS. They include Melissa, Laura, Kmama, BigGuysMama, Sara, Jacki, Tracy, Elena, Jen, Maureen, and of course GDRPempress. And that’s just a few of them… (mostly because I got sick of doing the links at midnight and want to go to bed.) 
3. I will *finally* meet Fran (@sitsgirls) in person. I have no words. There might be a squeal of joy.
2. I get to use the hashtag #TiffanyIsPretty again. It’s been way too long since I’ve used it. {Note to self: haul this hashtag out at random occasions.} And it’s been way too long since I’ve given Tiffany a hug as well. That might be my first order of business.
1. Finding inspiration. Whether for blogging or another life goal. Whether in myself or others. This life is all about living and I need some fresh inspiration on what to do and where to go next. I can’t wait to see where this weekend might inspire me to go.
For all of those reasons… and many more… I’m excited to venture out this weekend at Bloggy Boot Camp.

I think it’s great that you’re going into the conference with some really concrete goals, like improving your vlogging!
I wish I was going to BBC this weekend, but I am holding out hope for Blissdom this winter.

Woot woot! I’ll be there! This is my first conference, and I’m really looking forward to meeting other women who love to blog!
