Today is my birthday… and it was a fabulous day. So much good and fun and I’m just thrilled about all of it. Let me recap this awesome day. 
As I’ve been telling you, my dear readers, I’ve been working out faithfully for about 2 weeks now every weekday morning as well as on the weekends. Every day. And it paid off. I had my monthly weight watcher’s weigh in this morning and I am at my lowest weight EVER as an adult. Seriously good times happening to start off my birthday. Celebrations and fireworks going off in my head good times.
Because of all of this working out, I’ve sorta been dreaming of having a cinnamon roll from one of my favorite places in Holland – Creations by Marcia. It was soooo not on the Weight Watcher’s plan, but it was delicious!! I am so glad I treated myself to this.
Well… then came the birthday celebrations at work where my bosses brought in lunch from one of my favorite restaurants… but also a cake from Coldstone! Oh my goodness! Call me shocked and surprised – I seriously haven’t eaten this much food in a VERY long time.
But the day’s not over yet!
After work, I had a manicure and a mission trip meeting – both of which were wonderful and really “centered” and relaxed me. As a side note, even though I’m nervous about a few minor things on the mission trip – the one thing I know above all else is that God is there and I am at peace with what happens. I am as prepared as I can be – and so happy about it.
To finish off the day – me and the bowling team (and family) went to another of my favorite restaurants and had a great time. It was good to see everyone and celebrate me and my birthday.
**Also… props has to be given to one of my bowling buddies… Rog… who got a 300 tonight! Congrats!!
So… all in all a great day. Granted, not the most on point day of my life (I think if I tallied up today’s points and the points from the last 3 days… they would be about equal!)
Loved getting the e-mails, voicemails, facebook messages, and text messages. I am so blessed to have friends that care and love me for who I am.
I will be hitting up the gym daily again after the mission trip… this girl is sleeping all the way to 6am and then going into work early to make sure all is prepared so I don’t have to “worry” (not that I would have) about it while I am gone.
